Primeval Media together with F&B Group have launched the search for Ghana's finest 22 footballers of all time on Tuesday as part of activities to commemorate Ghana's 60th Anniversary celebration.

The launch which took place at the Conference Hall of the Independence Square in Accra on Tuesday was graced by the presence of many dignitaries including former Ghana FA Boss Alhaji Jawula and GOC President Ben Nunoo Mensah.

Organisers of the 'Ghana Finest 22' set out modalities for the search for the best 22 footballers since 1957 with their contribution to Ghana's football development being a key ingredient.

Top event organisers, Primeval Media, in collaboration with their partners named five great footballers for each position on the field, leaving Ghanaians with the chance of choosing the finest two for each of the positions.

Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Pius Enam Hadzide as well as top officials of the Ghana FA and some prominent ex-footballers all graced the occasion.

The general public will have the majority influence in determining who gets into the finest 22 from the list of 55 players named.

The public will have to text names of their favourite players announced for each of the positions to 1458 on all networks to select the finest 22.

The result will be announced in July this year.
