Second-tier sides progress in Ghana's Elite Clubs Competition

A host of Ghana’s second-tier sides have negotiated their qualification to next round of the Elite Clubs Competition.

FC Utrecht, Techiman City, Berlin FC, Asokwa Deportivo, Wassaman, Metro FC, Ajax , Sporting Mirren, Mighty Jet and Pure Joy are all through to the next phase of the inaugural competition.

The new competition has been created to keep the clubs fit following the delay start of domestic football due to a court action.
