Striker Seidu Bancey was unable to travel with the Asante Kotoko team on Wednesday for their Champions League return leg match against Sony Nguema.

The ex Ebusua Dwarfs hitman faced some problems during processing of his travel documents at the airport.

Bancey, as a result, had to be left behind as the team left Accra on Wednesday afternoon for the Equatorial Guinean capital through Lome, Togo.

He is however expected to join the team on Thursday to complete preparations for the weekend game.

The Ghanaian champions are all but certain to progress from this round haven secured an impressive 7-0 advantage in the first leg game in Kumasi.

Their trip to Malabo for the return leg is deemed by many as a mere formality.
