Ghana forward Andre Ayew has urged his Swansea teammates to remain focused to prolong their impressive start to the season.

The Swans remain one of the few unbeaten sides in the Premier League after four rounds of matches.

Andre Ayew has been one of the leading performers in the division – scoring three out of four games.

Manchester United were the latest to have suffered from the impressive exploits of Garry Monk’s side with a comeback 2-1 win on Sunday.

But the sensational Ghana international wants his teammates to be measured in their excitement to ensure the club continues to make in-roads in the Premiership.

“Swansea is a club which is really growing up and getting bigger and better,” he said.

“We are just four games into the season we need to stay calm, continue to play football and fight as a team.

“We just need to stay humble and focused and continue to fight so Swansea can be better. â€œ
