Former Serbia national team assistant coach Bogdan Korak will arrive on Friday night to finalize contractual talks as new Asante Kotoko head coach.

The 51-year-old will be in Dormaa Ahenkro on Sunday to watch the team's crucial tie against defending champions Aduana Stars.

Korak, who speaks English and Spanish, holds a Uefa Pro License coaching badge and a Football Coaching Certificate from the Belgrade University.

He has a 12-year-old coaching experience and his last job was in-charge of FC Hajduk Rodic.

Korak also played for Spanish FC Murcia, FC Forvertz (Austria) and Montenegrin side FC Mogren.

He hung up his boots in 1994 with local side FC Hajduk Lion.

If a deal is reached, he will replace Ebo Mends who resigned last Monday and will become the sixth Kotoko coach in three seasons.
