Serie B side Padova tracking midfielder Cofie

Posted On Wednesday, 5th December 2012

Padova keen on securing Isaac Cofie from Chievo

Italian Serie B side Padova have earmarked Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie for January transfer, Ghanasoccernet.com can reveal.

Padova manager Fulvio Pea believes Chievo Verona is under-utilizing the 21-year-old and he would offer him more playing time at the Stadio Comunale Euganeo.

Pea watched Cofie during his time with Sassuolo in the Serie B last season and believes he can reinforce his midfield for their promotion campaign.

Cofie has made just five appearances for Chievo Verona this season.
