Italian Serie B side Pescara have the head start to sign Ghanaian youngster Nii Nortey Ashong, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
The 19-year-old has returned to his parent club Fiorentina after spending last season on loan at Serie B side Spezia where he was under-utilized.
Ashong has made only two appearances and has been guaranteed regular playing time by the Biancazzurri.
