Defender Seth Owusu is on the hunt for a new club haven secured a free agent status.

The 22-year-old has left Hearts of Oak haven failed to make the mark with the Phobians.

The former Medeama player was frozen out of the Hearts first team when coach David Duncan took over from CK Akunnor who signed him.

His increrasingly limited first team opportunities with the Ghana Premier League giants saw him listed as one of the players deemed surplus to requirements at the end of the season.

The player however got teh cue and quickly arranged for a hearing with the Ghana FA’s Player Status Committee where he has now secured a free agent status.

This makes him eligible to negotiate for a deal with any interested club with no strings of transfer fees attached.

The former Ghana youth international is now looking to his agent to secure him a move to continue with his career.

“I have just obtained my floating status so I look to my agent to find me a new club,” Owusu told Asempa FM.

“Hopefully by the close of this weekend something positive will come up.”
