Sevilla chief Monchi is facing a fans' backlash over plans to bring Tottenham defender Federico Fazio back to the club.
Don Balon says Monchi has already explored the prospect of re-signing the Argentine in January.
However, the news has not been greeted enthusiastically by Sevilla fans, which has been noted by directors.
Fazio still has a home in Seville, but the manner of his last-minute departure in 2014 left sections of the club's support angry.
