Hearts of Oak defender Shaun October is set to stay at the club despite interest from Premier Soccer League duo Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic.

October has two more years on his Hearts of Oak contract.

The 25-year-old left back has been impressive but down the pecking order at the relegation threatened side due to the form of Isaac Oduro.

Last month Soccer Laduma reported that the former Santos FC man had attracted from clubs back home in South Africa.

Now, with less than two weeks of the South African transfer window left to run, the Siya Crew has been informed that October is likely to stay where he is for now.

Hearts are second-bottom on the Ghana Premier League table with two matches to end of the season.
