Former Kotoko defender Shilla Illiasu has told the club remedial amount of work is required for them to be crowned league champions.
The 2006 FIFA World Cup star was present at the Baba Yara to watch the club's 1-1 draw with rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League derby.
"The results was a fair one but I must sound a caution to Asante Kotoko if only they are in for the league title," he told Joy FM.
"They need to work harder and sign more quality players as well. Hearts of Oak were much better than Asante Kotoko in the match."
