Sochaux coach Hervé Renard says he is expecting a lot from new signing Jordan Ayew as the club battle relegation in the French top-flight.

The Ghana international has joined Les Lionceaux on a six-month loan deal from Olympique Marseille.

Renard, the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winner with Zambia, has told the 22-year-old to take the opportunity to revive his career.

Ayew made only seven starts in 16 Ligue 1 appearances before the winter break.

"Jordan is a winner. For a workaholic like himself, eighteen goals in half a season is a feasible goal. I'm sure he will succeed, " Renard told L'Equipe.

Ayew has scored one goal this season.

Because he was pampered too much when he was a kid. He believes he is the master of all he surveys. Their father also advises them not to play for no one, hence their selfish playing style. It is working against them so they are always in DIM mode.
