Sogndal coach Jonas Olsson has challenged Mahatma Otoo to fire them to the league title after scoring in the 2-1 win against SK Brann.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak captain has been on fire since the start of the season with his goals and assists have propelled Sogndal to the top half of the table.

Otoo has scored in his side last three games and his coach is backing him to continue in that vein to lead the team to glory.

"Mahatma has done well in recent games and I will not be surprised if he won us the league," Olsson said.

"He arrived with a huge reputation and it is beginning to show."

Otoo has been named in Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah’s standby list to the 2014 World Cup finals.
