Sporting Director of Tema Youth, Wilfred Osei (Palmer) insists Moses Odjer remains a player of the club despite being away in Europe for almost a year now.
The 17-year-old is currently unattached after cancelling his contract with Italian club Chievo Verone earlier this year.
Odjer joined the player exodus bandwagon after excelling at the FIFA U20 World Cup last year where he helped Ghana to a bronze medal finish in Turkey.
And though clubs have expressed interest in signing the Ghanaian youngster, his Ghanaian parent club claim they still own the economic rights of the player.
ââ¬ÅWeââ¬â¢ve not sold Moses Odjer to any club,â⬠Wilfred Osei told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅThe boy is yet to get to age 18 and that is what is preventing him from securing a club.
ââ¬ÅWe all know he [Odjer] endeared himself when we went to the World Cup but he remains a player of Tema Youth.ââ¬
Odjer is reportedly being tracked by Belgian giants Standard Liege.
