Ghana and TP Mazembe winger Solomon Asante again proved vital for his side with a goal and an assist to ensure the Congolese side go into next weekend’s CAF Champions league encounter against Moghreb Tetouan on a winning note.

The Lumbashi based club were held to a 0-0 drawn game at home by Al Hilal in the first round of games.

Asante was a second half introduction in that one with his absence from the starting lineup largely blamed for the stalemate.

The former Berekum Chelsea man will however be looking to starting when they take on Moroccan side Moghreb Tetouan in a game they must get something out off.

The 24 year old prepped for the game with a solid display against Lumbumbashi sport where he set up Kasusula for Mazembe's first goal before getting the match winner three minutes from time.

Mazembe are third in group A two points behind Egyptian side Smouha but logged on the same points with second place Al Hilal.
