Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Asante has joined Premier League champions Berekum Chelsea for an undisclosed fee, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
Asante has returned to the country after a two-year blistering stints with Burkina champions ASFA Yennega.
The former Fetteh Feyernord graduate has won the golden boot award in neighbouring Burkina Faso for the past two-years and Chelsea have moved quickly to add the youngster to their stables.
The player who has hinted to commit his international future to Burkina Faso f he does not get a call-up from Ghana will lit fans with his explosive striking instincts in the countryâ€™s top-flight league.
He notched 14 goals to win the top scorer award in the Burkinabe top flight.
Asante featured for the Stallions of Burkina Faso in an international friendly against South Africa last month.
