Solomon Asante wins Samsung Fair Play Award in AFCON semis defeat

Ghana midfielder Solomon Asante won the Samsung Fair Play Award in Wednesday 3-2 penalty shoot-out defeat to Burkina Faso in the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The diminutive winger came off the bench to replace John Pantsil who got injured in the 10th minute after pulling a muscle. 

The Berekum Chelsea player was flamboyant on the pitch and attracted a lot of fouls.
