Technical Director of Inter Allies Willie Klutse has revealed that local clubs on their heels for the signature of striker Victorien Adebayor.

Adebayor joined Inter Allies prior the season from Nigerien outfit AS Gendarmerie Nationale Nigérienne on a two-year and has quickly cemented his place in the side with his consistent displays.

The 21-year-old has been bullish in front of goal after registering seven strikes in 12 games to propel the La-based side xx on the standings.

“Some of the local clubs are chasing him (Adebayor). Some clubs are only interested in already made players, and they only wait for you (smaller team) to groom the player for them to entice you with money," Klutse said on Zylofon FM.

“I can’t mention any team at the moment, but they are worrying us. They are behaving as if we don’t have eyes for good players and, that doesn’t show respect to the smaller teams."

The red-hot hitman has won two man of the match accolades in 12 games.
