Kumasi Asante Kotoko attacker, Yahaya Mohammed has taken a strong exception to the ‘bad boy’ tag being placed on him.

“I am not a bad boy as some people are spreading around, lately,” the enterprising forward stated on Kessben FM.

Yahaya Mohammed had suffered bad press for some time now following reports that he journeyed to Libya to sign for a club in the North African country without Kotoko’s approval.

Though the local Black Stars player had vehemently denied signing a contract with a Libyan club, most soccer fans in Kumasi now tag him a bad boy.

Reacting to the rumour, the player stated that he was not a bad person as was being speculated.

According to him, he was a good person who always moved with equally good people so the public should treat the rumour about him with contempt.

Yahaya said he was a truthful, open and outspoken person, urging his accusers to stop tarnishing his image.
