AmaZulu have reported Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Awal Issah to the South African FA for going AWOL since December.

The South African club claim they are unaware of the whereabouts of the 27-year-old.

Usuthu (Heroes) have now launched legal action against the former Red Star Belgrade man and are determined to take the case all the way to FIFA.

"We are instituting legal action against him [Issah]. We have written a letter to the PSL, who have since referred the matter to Safa,” AmaZulu’s marketing manager  Lunga Sokhela told Kickoff.

“I presume the matter will go as far as FIFA."

Issah only joined AmaZulu  for the second time last year after a brief stint with Greek club PAE Veria.

He played for Real Sportive while he was in Ghana.
