South African fans are gearing up to offer their unflinching support to Ghana ahead of Saturday’s CHAN final against Libya in Cape Town.

The Black Stars enjoyed massive support from the local fans as they put up a brave performance to beat perennial rivals Nigeria 4-1 on penalties on Wednesday.

The West Africans have always found South Africa as their second home especially after their impressive performance at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in that country.

The two countries have been great football allies over the years with their supporters expected to turn up in their numbers to support the Black Stars ahead of the final showdown against the North Africans.

Ghana has been the team of South Africans in major tournaments if their team is not participating and the Black Stars are their second team when the Bafana Bafana are also in the competition.

In major competitions like the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, South Africans gave massive support to the Black Stars and it is expected to continue as the Ghanaian attempt a first major ware since 1982 at the senior level.
