University of Pretoria have decided against signing Ghanaian midfielder John Arwuah.

The 30-year-old is a free agent after leaving Cyprus side AEL Limassol.

The former AmaZulu vesatile man had been strongly linked with a move to the South African side on his return to the country.

But the Turks have decided against recruiting the Ghanaian.

Arwuah terminated his contract with AEL Limassol due to the club's financial problems.
