Sky sources understand Southampton have agreed to pay a club-record fee of £21m to sign Lille attacker Sofiane Boufal.
Should the deal go through, Southampton would become the tenth Premier League club to break their transfer record this summer.
The 22-year-old scored 11 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
