Newly appointed acting Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah-Odotei has fired a warning shot to rival Ghana Premier League clubs eyeing the league title insisting his side will not surrender their lead.

The Phobians have been on top of the Ghana Premier League following a good run in their last three matches, ousting Wa All Stars from the top of the league log and the new MD says it is over for the other clubs.

"We began the league with the aim to be competitive and now that we are occupying the top spot, we will not surrender the league title to any side,” he told Happy.

"We are firm on top of the table now. We want to win the league for the first time in so many years. As a result, we are not surrendering our lead," he added.

Sowah-Odotei was the Chairman of the Strategy Committee of the club before his elevation to the position of MD following what the club's top hierarchy perceives as a good run.
