Spain-based Rose Sarpong is hoping to get a Ghana call-up to play for the Black Queens.

The 19-year-old versatile midfielder has been impressive for Berriotxoa College in the Spanish Liga Vasca Femenina.

The towering midfielder has scored fives goals from four games to lift her side to a mid-table position.

After missing out on the 2012 African Women Championship, Ghana is aiming for rebuilding and she believes there may be an opening in Kuuku Dadzie's squad.

"I would love to play for Ghana and hopefully my chances have improved with my performance in Spain," she told Ghanasoccernet.com.

"Spain is playing the best football in the world now and it is the same in the women's league here."
