Spanish side Deportivo Alaves will not hesitate to sell Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso if he decides to leave this summer, according to reports in Spain.

Alaves are keen on augmenting their squad ahead of the new season. But they can only bring in new players by approving the transfer of some players and Wakaso is seen as one of those players, who could leave, having failed to hit the heights in his debut season.

The 27-year-old was about to leave Alaves in the winter market when Getafe tried to sign him. The move was only truncated on the grounds that Alaves didn't have a replacement.

Wakaso signed a three-year contract with Alaves last summer. His made 24 appearances - mostly substitute - in all competitions in the just-ended campaign.

He has featured for six different clubs since when left Espanyol in 2013.
