Sports minister Nii Lante hails Ghana FA, PLB over massive league progress
The league has been exciting this season with lots of fans and talents

The Minister of Youth and Sports Nii Lante Vanderpuye has hailed the Ghana FA and the Premier League for the big revival in the Ghanaian top-flight league.

Ghana's biggest football competition has been characterized by huge attendances since the season started four weeks ago despite claims that the interest in the local league is dead.

The competition in the league is very keen with giants Hearts of Oak leading the pack while there are some early surprises from Dreams FC and Wa All Stars.

Some exciting players like Samuel Tetteh of WAFA, Samudeen Ibrahim of Hearts, Evans Mensah of Inter Allies and Lawson Bekui of Dreams FC are among the players who have excited the fans.

Some great goals have been scored including the amazing curling free kick from Wa All Stars midfielder Wahid Mumuni.

Vanderpuye says the GFA and PLB must be hailed for the revival seen in the local league this season.

'I thank God that a new spirit has entered our local league and I want to commend the GFA and the Premier League Board for the new spirit," Youth and Sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuye said.

Hearts are top of the league with ten points while they are followed by Wa All Stars and Dreams FC who have eight points apiece.
