German Bundesliga side St Pauli have confirmed the transfer of Germany-born Ghanaian defender Davidson Drobo-Ampem to Danish side Esbjerg FB on loan.
The 22-year-old left joins the Danish Superliga side for six months after making one Bundesliga appearance this season, a four-minute run-out against Cologne last Saturday.
Drobo-Amepem has been down the pecking order and has not been a regular starter for St Pauli since 2009. "Drobo has to realise that it's important for him to be able to show everything that he's learned with us on a regular basis. Only then can he develop more and take the next step," St Pauli coach Holger Stanislawski said.
"Against Cologne, we used him as a substitute because he earned it again."
