The Franceville Stadium, venue for Ghana's 2012 Africa Cup of Nations group matches, has been completed.

The Black Stars open their campaign on 24 January against the Zebras of Botswana before engaging Mali four days later.

Ghana's last Group D game is against Guinea on 1 February.

Louis Claude Moundzieoud Koumba, chief spokesman for the organising committee COCAN Gabon, said on Friday the 25,000-seat ground in Franceville is now finished.

"We can assure you that everything is ready to host the tournament," Koumba said through a translator.

"It was a challenge but it was a priority for the country and now they are waiting for the fans."

The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations will be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea and it will run from 21 January to 12 February.
