Former Valencia manager Nuno Espirito Santo has emerged as a candidate to take over from Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink at the end of the season after being spotted at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
Spanish publication Superdeporte is reporting Santo was in London to watch the Blues' 5-1 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.
Nuno is understood to have a strong relationship with agent Jorge Mendes, who has dealt with Chelsea previously, and is believed to be of interest to owner Roman Abramovich.
The 42-year-old guided Valencia to fourth place in La Liga during his first season in charge, but parted ways with the club this season after results turned sour.
