Striker Ahmed Toure powers Kotoko to second place

Ivorian import Ahmed Toure scored a spectacular to send Kotoko to second place on the Ghana Premier League table on Sunday night.

Nathaniel Asamoah increased his tally to ten with sublime low finish inside the box but Faisal drew level two minutes later.

When the match was heading for a draw, Nathaniel Asamoah teed-up Toure upfront, who turned out his marker, before unleashing a powerful drive to the far right corner.

Kotoko are now 13 points behind leaders Berekum Chelsea who have 50 points.

Faisal lie one place above the relegation mark on goal difference.
