Heart of Lions striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has been handed a one-week trial session by Swedish top flight side Djurgarden IF, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 20-year-old former was spotted by the club's head coach Magnus Pehrsson who watched him during a league match against Libery Professionals.
"Gilbert was looked at by the head coach in Ghana so he has a fair idea of his capabilities so the deal could be 90 per cent done. He has to prove himself again," Heart of Lions Chief Executive Desmond Frimpong Manso told GHANAsoccernet.com
Fiamenyo was Heart of Lions top scorer with six goals and was a member of Ghana's home-based national team that played at the 2011 African Nations Championship.
