Striker Edwin Osei Pele  arrived in Tamale on Wednesday to complete a shock move to Real Tamale United.

The former Aduana Stars loanee is keen to find a new club before the transfer window shut on Monday after being told he will not feature in the plans of Hearts trainer CK Akunnor.

Real Tamale United coach Mohammed Gargo has invited the player for further assessement before making a final decision on his future.

Pele will signed a one-year deal with the club if he passess a medical on Thursday.

“I arrived in Tamale this morning on the invitation of the club. The coach wanted to see me so we can finalize everything,” Pele said

“He (coach Gargo) knows me already and so he knows my ability. He says he wants to work with me this season.

“Most of the teams that I wanted to play did not seem ready and so I decided to come and help him.

“Since he is the one who is interested in my services, I believe he will give me regular playing time if we tie the down the deal.

“I came to the training grounds and all the players and coaches were excited to see me.

“I will undergo a medical on Thursday and hopefully by the close of day tomorrow I should be an RTU player.

“I am praying that everything goes as planned.”
