Striker Ransford Osei missed a scheduled medical on Tuesday at Asante Kotoko, MTNFootball.com understands.
The 21-year-old is said to have agreed in principle to join the Premier League champions after holding series of fruitful discussions with chairman Dr. K.K Sarpong.
The former FC Twente striker will however need to pass a mandatory club medical, settle on personal terms before signing an expected two-year contract.
Osei however failed to report for the medical at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium clinic.
Reasons for his no show are readily unknown with Kotoko officials tight-lipped on the matter.
According to reliable sources, this cannot jeopardize his move as they look to finalize his deal by Wednesday.
