West African Football Academy have filed a judicial protest against stuttering Great Olympics for violating payment plan regarding the sale of goalkeeper Joseph Halm from Medeama three years ago, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The Academy Boys are hoping to exploit Olympics's 'stiff-necked' attitude in complying with a ruling by the Players' Status Committee ordering them to pay the Mauve and Yellows GHC18,000.00 as transfer fee for the glovesman as far back as  September 30, 2016.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands WAFA have filed an official protest against the Wonder Club, seeking several reliefs including the maximum points during their league clash in Accra on March 5 which ended goalless.

Olympics have violated the 14-day ultimatum and will be sanctioned heavily by the disciplinary committee if they are found guilty.

The FA's rules are unambiguous in these matters with the capital-based side likely to suffer the brunt.

GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal Medeama's attempts to retrieve the money from Olympics has fallen on deaf ears.

Medeama sold Joseph Halm to Olympics in 2014 but are yet to be paid a dime only for the shot-stopper to return to Tarkwa on a free transfer in January this year.

Olympics now find themselves in a tight corner with WAFA reported to have presented documents to back their claims.

The situation could be murkier for the club if other clubs file similar protest against the club as they appear to be adamant to pay the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners.

The basement boys could be dealt a sucker punch if the ruling goes against them as their woes will likely continue unabated.

They are at the bottom of the table after picking just two points from six games.
