Sturridge returns to Liverpool training

Published on: 04 February 2016

26-year-old Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has moved one step closer to returning to first-team action, as he has now resumed full training.

Sturridge has not played since December the 6th, with only six appearances and three Premier League starts all season. Sturridge, however, took part in a full training session on Wednesday with all players who did not start in the defeat to Leicester City on Tuesday night. Klopp has suggested that he wants Sturridge to train for 10 to 12 consecutive days before he will consider him for first team selection.
