Sulley Muntari  has admitted AC Milan must improve this season after a difficult spell last term.

The Rossoneri went through two coaches and finished in eighth place – failing to qualify for any European competitions.

But the Ghana international believes that 2014-15 will be different for the San Siro outfit.

“This year we want to do better, that’s for sure,” he told reporters in New York.

“Last year did not go well, we know that.

“We have to return to the real Milan that everyone knows.”

The midfielder then commented on his experience at the World Cup, and Milan’s training day with the New York Cosmos.

“Here at Milan it is different to Ghana. Here you can have whatever you want and you’re loved by your teammates.

“But I can’t change the country I come from.

“It was great to train with the Cosmos, We’re happy to be their guests.”
