AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari says he is enjoying the club’s decision to train in the United States for pre-season.
The Ghana World Cup star is on board the AC Milan squad which trained at at the New York Cosmos training ground on Wednesday.
“We talked with some of the Cosmos players, they were friendly and it is great to be here in America,” Muntari told reporters.
“Cosmos is one of the most legendary clubs in football history, made famous also because Pelé played here.
“Some of my teammates asked me, ‘Look at the badge, are they the Cosmos?’ and I answered yes. I’ve already been to the U.S, but this is the first time in New York.”
