Sulley Muntari desperate to return to aid AC Milan

Sulley Muntari has admitted he is anxious to return to action to help his struggling AC Milan side.

The 28-year-old has not featured for the Rosonneri since the start of the campaign after he damaged  ligament  during a kick-around with friends in Ghana in June.

He went under the knife and expected to return to full scale training at the end of November.

But he says he is eager to return to help the Italian giants hit the ground running.

“I’m working hard to return as soon as possible. “I can’t wait to return,” Muntari  told Milan Channel on Wednesday.

“I want to give my contribution to the team. I have faith in my teammates.

“I’m certain that we’ll be able to do well again in the very near future.

“We’ll get to where we want to. Milan are a great side that has to aim for the highest objectives. The current League table lies.”

Milan have endured a torrid time to the start of the season where they have picked up a paltry 7 points from 21 in seven games.
