Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari was re-instated in the AC Milan starting line-up on Saturday for the first time in three matches as they drew 2-2 with Hellas Verona.

The 30-year-old played the entire duration as the Rossoneri concede in stoppage to drop two points at home.

Veteran striker Luca Toni scored first for the visitors on 18 minutes from the spot.

After a clumsy challenge by Sulley Muntari inside the penalty box, Toni was left with the chance to score his fifth goal in five games and he cheekily chipped down the middle as Lopez leapt hopelessly to the left.

Jeremy Mendez snatched the leveller also with a penalty in 41st minute.

Two minutes after the break, Panagiotis Tachtsidis scored an own goal to give Milan the lead.

But in the fifth minute of added on time Nicolás Lopez scored to give Verona a share of the spoils.

Muntari last match for AC Milan was in the 3-1 defeat to defending champions Juventus early last month.

He has tallied 16 Serie A appearances and scored two goals.
