Ghana star midfielder Sulley Muntari has been included in the AC Milan team to face Spanish side Atletico Madrid inà Tuesday's Uefa Champions League, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.
The 29-year-old missed the first-leg defeat at the San Siro but is eligible to play in the reverse fixture at the Vicente Calderon and managed Clarence Seedorf has included him in his 22-man squad for the trip.
Muntari returned to the competition to join countryman Michael Essien in the Milan group for the game.
The Ghana international, who has over ten years experience in the competition, is expected to play a crucial role for Milan especially as he comments after the draw caused a verbal brawl between Atletico and Milan players. Essien and Muntari were both in the set of players who trained separately from the squad which did not play inà Saturday'sà defeat to Udinese at the Stadio Communale Fruili.
Milan will need an outright win against Atletico to stand any chance of qualifying to the next round.
