Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has refused to blame goalkeeper Richard Kingson for the 2-1 friendly defeat to South Korea last Tuesday at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

Kingson, 32, has become the target many irate Ghana fans calling on him to be removed from the Number one position after he gifted two goals to Congo and South Korea in five days.

But Muntari, who captained Ghana in the match, it has been rare blips from Kingson and maintained the former Blackpool player is the best on the continent.

"Kingson is my best keeper in the whole of Africa. You know sometimes you make mistake and this is just some of them. People are complaining because they are passionate about football. I think people should exercise patience. He will return to his best," he said.
