Sunderland have today failed in attempt to loan Chelsea second-choice goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
According to reports, David Moyes was keen to bring in the former Stoke City goalkeeper but Chelsea rejected the offer because it would leave them short of cover for number one keeper Thibaut Courtois.
