Mamelodi Sundowns are considering an offer made by an unnamed Turkish club to sign Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 21-yer-old is reportedly in high demand following his impressive debut season in the South African top flight.

Sumaila played his part in Sundowns’ successful domestic campaign last season where they ended up champions of the South African PSL.

The former Ebusua Dwarfs player is yet to feature for Sundowns in their opening two league matches due to the uncertainty surrounding his future.

Sundowns are unwilling to use their foreign-player slot on Sumaila who is likely to leave the club as negotiations with the unnamed Turkish club continues.

The club is however holding out for a fee in excess of 500,000 Euros.

Coach Pitso Mosimane is expected to run a final rule on the future of the Black Stars defender by the weekend.

His decision will determine whether the Ghana international will be registered for the season or will be ultimately sold off before the transfer window shuts.
