Asante Kotoko defender Abeiku Ainooson says he is deeply hurt to be of sitting out the side’s next game due to suspension.

The central defender is suspended for Kotoko’s Premier League clash against Inter Allies on Saturday due to a sending off in the 1-1 draw with Hasaacas in midweek.

Ainooson was only returning from a month-long injury in the midweek clash.

He is now forced to sit out Saturday’s match against the resurgent Inter Allies to serve out an automatic ban.

Ainooson is already feeling the pinch of missing out yet another game in the title run in for the champions.

“It hurts to be missing a game again when I have just returned from injury,” he told Metro FM.

''It was very hard for me during my time out with injury and just when I thought I was back in the mix I get this red card, it’s tough on me.”
