Udinese’s Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Badu will miss next Monday’s encounter against Juventus through suspension.

The 23-year-old will be forced to watch the encounter against the league leaders from the stands after it was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that he was handed a one-match sanction.

Badu received his fourth booking during the 2-1 defeat to Fiorentina last Sunday afternoon, therefore, automatically ruling him out of the fixture in Friuli next week.

The Black Stars international will miss the chance of coming up against his fellow compatriot, Kwadwo Asamoah, who made the switch from Udinese back in June 2012.

Asamoah is currently on the verge of adding a second Serie A title to his name, as his Juventus side occupy the top spot of the league standings, eight points off second-placed Roma.

Elsewhere, Ghana’s Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien will be in action for Milan on Sunday evening against near-relegated Catania.
