Swansea City chairman HUW Jenkins says he has not received any offer for Ghana star Andre Ayew.

Ayew has been heavily linked with a move away from the club following his rich form for the club in last season’s league.

He has been tipped by some to move on this summer, with Liverpool, Sunderland and West Ham all mentioned as potential suitors for the former Marseille man.

And despite all the speculation, Jenkins has played down talk of Ayew, who still has three years to run on his Swansea contract, moving on.

“I have had no approach from anyone about Andre, and we hope he stays-of course," Jenkins told the Evening Post.

"Our overall aim this summer is to keep the core of the squad together.

"We finished last season strongly."
