Swansea City boss Paul Clement is looking to add young Ghanaian right back Andy Yiadom to his team that escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth.

The Swans may throw Scottish striker Oliver McBurnie into the deal – either as a straight swap or on a season-long loan.

Yiadom joined the Tykes last year from the Bees on a free transfer, but established himself as one of the Sky Bet Championship’s top full-backs.

Last week there were reports that the Swans had made a substantial bid for the player who represented Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

The right-back featured 32 times in the Sky Bet Championship for the Tykes as they finished in 14th place
