English Premier League side Swansea City have taken the mantle to canvas votes for Ghana star Andre Ayew to win the 2015 BBC African Footballer of the Year award.
The 25-year-old Black Stars vice captain has been nominated alongside Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure, Gabon's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sadio Mané of Senegal and Algerian Yacine Brahimi.
Ayew is in pole position to win the award following his impressive start to life in the English Premier League which has seen him bag six (6) goals in 13 appearances for the Swansea City.
And, the Welsh side have taken it upon themselves to canvas votes from their fans to both in the UK and across the continent to cast their votes for winger.

The winner of BBC African Footballer of the Year 2015 will be revealed simultaneously on television, radio and online on Friday 11 December 2015.
