SWANSEA - Jenkins: \"We\'re sorry for Guidolin, but we needed to change\"

Published on: 03 October 2016

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins spoke about Francesco Guidolin's sacking and Bob Bradley's appointment:

"We're obviously disappointed but we thought it was right to have faith in Guidolin after what he did in the past season.

"Unfortunately, we did not confirm the same performances, so we thought it was better to change.

"We want to thank Guidolin and his staff for the jobe they made, and obviously we wish them the best for their next challenges.

"We're happy that Bradley accepted our proposal because he knows our philosophy really well and we hope we can stay in charge for a long time."
